Hi all,
So we are allowing our horses limited access to the field this time of year to try to save it for the spring and summer, in doing this the horses are looking for other things to chew and your beautiful post and rail is coming under fire?, it might also ne used as a scratching post? of your horse is leaning over into another field pushing the posts at an angle.Have a look at these stand off insulators you will find them to be a god sent. Yip with the advent of a New Year and our brand new website due to go live online at the end of January it's an exciting time for us all here at EFD!
We've also decided to give out Newsletters a bit of a facelift - hopefully making it more engaging and thought provoking for all you lovely readers.
We are particularly interested in anything relating to life on the farm and electric fencing (of course) and our other products. And do let us know if there's any burning topics that we have missed that

I bought the electric fence to keep my two six-month old cats inside our garden. The cats were around 2 kilos in weight, but they took to the collars very well, which didn’t seem to annoy them in any way, even though, for me, they looked too big and heavy for their necks. The cats are still growing, and nowadays I think they don’t look too large for their necks. They love having the collars put on because they know what it means!

Hello all, Happy Winter months.
And as many of you will have noticed hello rugs on some horses, this means that winter is here and that not only are the nights darker and longer ( but now getting shorter yepee) but the grass will start to become scarse, now is an ideal time to think about sectioning off your field so you can rotate the horses to prevent poaching of the ground and you can still have some grass for them to eat here is a link to our horse kits which will allow you to look at sectioning

It's been a brilliantly zappy year for us at Electric Fencing Direct - and some of our customers have been using our electric fencing in "less conventional ways"....
For example, take our customer Billy Roden: he has recently been using our electric fencing to increase the fun (?) aspect of some very dirty events ....!
Our energisers and other electric kit have been used to create rather challenging electric obstacles on several obstacle and mud runs - the very worthy ToughSh!t competition which
