And as many of you will have noticed hello rugs on some horses, this means that winter is here and that not only are the nights  darker and longer ( but now getting shorter yepee) but the grass will start to become scarse, now is an ideal time to think about sectioning off your field so you can rotate the horses to prevent poaching of the ground and you can still have some grass for them to eat here is a link to our horse kits which will allow you to look at sectioning

As I said last week we spoke about horse fencing. Today is the turn of netting and as today it is blowing a hoolie out there it makes sense to chat about it.

So your netting has been up for a wee while now and should be working great, with the winter months round the corner we suggest with all fencing you have a check of all the components and make sure you are as winter ready as possible.

POULTRY NETTING 

Electric Poultry Netting is highly effective in keeping PREDATORS OUT (e.g. foxes, badgers, dogs, cats, mink etc) and POULTRY IN. It is simple to erect, just unroll the net and tread in the posts. All the technical information: Standard mesh net is 1.22m high by 50m in length, is dark green, has a larger mesh than our other nets (15cm by 5cm sq at the bottom third).  This net is only recommended for use with larger poultry as the mesh is large at the bottom.  The netting includes:

The 40m x 1.2m Green Poultry Net

Please note that this although net has not been used and is in perfect condition the outer packaging box is damaged.

This net is 1.22m high, the posts are black and the net is dark green, and it has close mesh (7.5cm by 5cm sq) for the bottom third of the net.  A strong and sturdy net which keeps not only the fox but all predators at bay and is easy to put up and take down.
